We spent several months and went through countless prototypes to determine the final position of the set’s special flat membranes as well as the shape of the enclosure, baffle, and grilles. The result is an extraordinarily wide and uniform emission for an immersive surround sound that delivers an authentic THX experience.

Design, installation, connection

The lacquered side panels provide additional stability and minimise cabinet resonance. The contrast finish is subtly supported by red plastic inlays in the shadow gaps. The speakers can be easily attached to the wall with the integrated keyhole holder. With the AC 7500 SM wall mount bracket, the speakers can also be swivelled horizontally. Thanks to its efficient speakers, the System 4 also plays superior quality sound even with inexpensive AV receivers (a THX license is not necessary).

The System 4 offers all the advantages of THX tested and certified acoustics, but is small enough to be easily integrated into any living space. THX centre for the best speech intelligibility

With 2 mid-range drivers, this centre offers powerful, distortion-free sound and high speech intelligibility for films and gaming - even at low volume. The sound is tuned to the System 4 satellites. Thanks to its shallow depth, the device can be easily mounted on the wall) or on a shelf.

Subwoofer S 4000 SW

The S 4000 SW offers ultra-low bass up to 35 Hz with extremely slim dimensions. It has three 130 mm bass drivers with an enormous lifting capacity of 8 mm. This movement can generate as much sound pressure as is generated by a considerably larger design.

The drivers of the subwoofer are the real sensation: a strong magnet, tightest tolerances in the air gap and the coil carrier as well as high-strength bonding thanks to innovative manufacturing processes enable extraordinary loads and thus the lowest, cleanest frequencies. The proven Teufel-DPU technology ensures the suppression of ny possible ambient noise in the reflex channel. For this purpose, there is an automatic switch-on and switch-off as well as extensive setting options and a protective circuit.

THX dipole speaker for the ultimate cinema atmosphere

The THX dipoles ’ omnidirectional lateral dispersion greatly contributes to the realistic sound reproduction of the rear speakers. Two midrange drivers and two tweeters produce enough power to reproduce even very dynamic soundtracks with a high degree of realism. A cinematic soundstage, whereby individual surround channels are reproduced by multiple loudspeakers, is convincingly simulated by dipole speakers.
